Mindful Mending Workshop 🪡♻️ The first of our monthly Mindful Mending Workshop series. Mindful mending is the intentional and conscious act of repairing clothing and textiles as a practice of care, creativity, and resourcefulness. In this workshop, you’ll reconnect with your belongings while learning practical skills that help extend the life of the items you love. Through guided instruction, you’ll develop the knowledge and tools needed to confidently repair everyday wear and tear—fostering self-reliance and reducing the need to replace items unnecessarily 🌱✨ ✨ What you’ll learn: - Essential hand-sewing techniques for repairs - How to mend small tears, seams, and worn areas - Practical tips for durable and thoughtful fixes - How to approach mending with creativity and intention 🧵 What’s included: - All materials, tools, and notions required for mending - Hands-on guidance in a relaxed, supportive environment 👕 What to bring: - One article of clothing that requires a small repair - Please note: no knitted items for this workshop Give new life to your garments and leave with skills you’ll use again and again 💚 📅 Date: Friday, May 29 🕓 Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
