Sewing Classes & Workshops Booking Policy
Please review the following policy to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
1. Booking & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. Spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please confirm your availability before registering, as missed classes are non-refundable. Bookings may be made online, in-store, or by phone. For multi-session courses, full payment is required for the entire program.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the class start time are eligible for store credit in a form of an electronic gift card. Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable and not eligible for credit unless we can fill your spot from the waitlist, in which case a store credit may be issued as a courtesy. No-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable. Missed sessions within a multi-class course cannot be made up or partially refunded. In the event that we must cancel or reschedule, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer.
3. Age Requirements & Supervision
Classes are organized by age to ensure appropriate instruction and safety:
-
Ages 8–12: Must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian. A waiver must be submitted. Parents are welcome to attend but are not required to stay.
-
Ages 12–16: Students should be able to work independently. A waiver must be submitted.
-
Ages 14+: Designed for teens and adults learning together. Minors require a signed waiver.
-
Ages 18+: Adults only.
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive, without refund.
4. Attendance & Punctuality
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for setup. Late arrivals will not extend class time. Missed portions of a class cannot be rescheduled or refunded.
5. Minimum Enrollment
Classes may be cancelled if minimum enrollment is not met. In such cases, participants will be notified at least 48 hours in advance and offered a full refund or store credit.
6. Materials & Equipment
Machines, tools, and equipment are provided for use in all classes. Some classes include project kits; others may require additional purchase. Participants may bring their own machines or tools, clearly labelled. No discounts are provided for bringing your own equipment.
By registering for a class, workshop, or course, you agree to the terms of this. If you have any questions, please contact us — we're happy to help!
