As part of our structured Sew Magical Winter Camp schedule, each day features a special hands-on sewing project designed to build new skills and creativity. Daily Project: 🧤 Cozy & Heartwarming Project: Upcycled Felted Mittens Start camp with a cozy and heartwarming project! Join us to make upcycled felted mittens decorated with snowmen, hearts, and trees. Campers will learn to sew their own pair of felted mittens using a sewing machine, exploring stitching, shaping, and decorating techniques. Students will gain confidence using thread and needles, scissors, and a sewing machine safely while tracing a pattern, sewing seams, and embellishing their mittens with embroidery thread, felted wool, buttons, and trim — making their creations truly one of a kind. This project introduces the basics of sewing with thicker fabrics while giving kids something practical and adorable to take home — perfect for keeping warm all winter long! ❤️ What to Bring: Please pack a nut-free lunch, two snacks, and a filled water bottle each day. Campers should also come prepared with warm outdoor clothing for our daily nature break. All participants must also complete a minor waiver form before attending camp.
